Cupcakes and Running!

I know we have all at one point have said these words after a race, "I can eat and drink whatever I want now I've completed that 5k, 10k, half or full marathon!"


Actually as much as it was painful and you had to dig deep to battle through, it turns out we can't eat a feast!


I thought I'd show you this comparison using cupcakes! - yes we all love a bit of cupcake comparison!


This is how many calories you could eat after a race or you can see how many cupcakes you can eat if you fancy that sugar rush!


  • 5k = 352 calories or 2 cupcakes

  • 21k (Half Marathon) = 1500 calories or 11 cupcakes

  • 21k (Half Marathon) - 1500 calories or 11 cupcakes

  • 21k (Half Marathon) = 1500 calories or 11 cupcakes!!

So next time you think you can eat a massive burger, chips, chocolate fudge cake and a glass of wine... Think again!
